Are you mad?
Have you not read all the other posts on this section?
Already you're being recommended to get the stabilisers off. Then she'll want taking on rides on the local MUP. Then she'll start reading bike magazines and want, not just a better bike, but a better road/mtb/'cross/touring etc., bike for each type of cycling.
Then, if you overdo the encouragement, she'll want to race, so she'll have to join a club.
Then, because you'll want her to do well, she'll need coaching and there won't be a coach within a 100 miles, so you'll take a coaching course so you can maximise her training efficiency. Then she'll do really well, so local/state/regional championships won't be enough, so you'll be going to nationals, all of which will mean taking out a second mortgage, which means both of you taking second jobs, unless the LBS will assist.
Then she'll join a European team and marry a Belgian, so you'll never see your grandchildren.
Apart from that, you're clearly wonderfully sensible and loving parents.
Congrats, by the way.
Ps. Once you've done a coaching course, you'll feel an uncontrollable urge to help other kids ride their bikes. I speak from sad experience and I don't even have any kids.
