Me personally, I've ridden a bike with DA pedals, friends Madone, at the time I was riding 105 pedals. There was absolutely no difference in feel except for when I pull my foot from the pedal, just a little smoother. I would go with 105 again if I was buying a Shimano road pedal for less than $100. However, I have ridden Time road pedals, and if you have wider feet, they are sweet. I am currently running Time MTB pedals on both my bike and I love them.
