That's weird...I was kind of thinking the exact same thing yesterday. Motorcycle riders wear it, and we can hit similar speeds going downhill. Imagine taking a fall at 50+mph.
But, even if it did start becoming popular with cyclists. I probably still wouldn't wear one.
