It was either from the shaker on Friday, or the intense wind causing rock slides.
There were lots of rocks and boulders everywhere. From the top of the hills, we could see the whitecaps on the ocean so you must have had some breezes down there. Yet when returning via Mulholland to Agoura, we had plenty of areas with little wind. It's all canyons during Santa Anas.
