30F with 12mph winds but cloudy/overcast and damp made it feel colder.
I realized how much easier an 18mph cruising speed is compared to 22mph.
Most of the die-hards didn't show-up today so we merged with a moderately "gentler" group ride. (actually felt good just pedaling along and not having the hammer down, though I wish we went for another two hours)
BTW the die-hard''s I ride with (who are typically not weather-weenies) probably wanted to be assured of being in front of a TV in time to watch the EAGLES decimate the giants. (WOW Eagles going to the NFC Championship. Who would have thunk it?)
