It depends on how much penetration this device will get in terms of dealers. The whole bike - with the possible exception of the tires - is non-standard ... and it is quite clear from the web site that certain parts of it are NOT user serviceable.

I would bet that if an owner just opens the case that encloses the drivetrain it probably voids the warranty.
