Yes. Apparently the pull for the front derailer is a close match for the internal hub. Presumably since you have a 9 speed cassette they would use Tiagra. But if you look on their website, they have a few "sport" models that mate drops bars with the Dual Drive.
Ok, so it is good that I asked. Somehow I had it in my mind that they would NOT work together. Goes to show how much i really know
