Dear bike,

I'm sorry for giving you so many stupid scratches. I hope you can overlook that first one to your brifters since it was my first time in clipless pedals...as well as the second set of scratches with my newest clipless pedals (those were way tighter than the old ones). What I really want to apologize for are those times I ran straight into the curb and scratched your derailleur and quick releases, whether it was because I took a turn too wide or because I mindlessly drifted into it. I also hope that the road doesn't kick up any more pebbles at your glorious frame; it hurts me deeply to see your lustrous shine marred by those loathsome clods. Oh, and there was the time I accidentally nicked you with an Allen wrench.

Anyways, I hope you are willing to forgive such a clumsy owner. I'll try my best to keep any more scars from adding to your seven frame scratches, four brifter scrapes, three derailleur lacerations, and two quick release scrapes...oh, and the gouges on the pedals.
