I don't care for a Brand Name, I just want an awesome bike for a good value.
Why is it too good to be true?
I figured that you don't get the least support from BD via email or phone, that being the compromise between purchasing from an LBS or BD.
How do you prove the weld quality bad?
Or rather, how do you compare them to a name brand like litespeed?
Hey, if you end up liking it, that's all that matters. I'm opting for the Cannondale because I'm not going into my purchase worried or wary of anything. It's not made in some random no-name factory overseas, that may not be important to you but it is to me in terms of purchase confidence. I'll have a bunch of fitting/maintenance support from the LBS which will be helpful for me because I plan on racing within the next year or two and the cycling team at my school gets good discounts from the store I might be buying from.
I've read that the weld quality isn't spectacular, I do not know this first hand.
Anyways, if you end up getting it let me know how it is, I'm still interested in it a bit.
