Build from Parts - Puegeot PFN10 Vitus 181

Just got done with this project that has taken me most of 9 months (with time out for tibia plateau fracture, 7 SS screws and 2 straps, and some recuperation). Started out with a 1976 Motobecane Grand Jubilee which turned out to be bent and ruined. Found this 1982 Peugeot Vitus 181 CrMo frame (same as the Motobecane) and decided to build on it. Used the original spindle from the Peugeot but the cups, arms, sprockets, derailleurs, and shifters (Sun Tour Cyclones - Power Shifters, Sakae crank set) from the Motobecane. Found some Dia-Compe side-pulls seeing the Weinmann originals were long gone. Upgraded new wheels and tires, chain, brake handles and found a used Nitto track bar. Paint job was done on my back patio, 2-stage urethane just like your Chevy. JR made me some decals from artwork one of my daughters ginned up for me. Made a sweet ride at 24 lbs!! I'll be putting on some miles in the morning!!
