I think they're great. I actually started making my own out of old fabric I've had laying around. I made two for my brothers for christmas presents out of an old kid's blazer. Found the pattern for these hats from a guy on flickr. very fun DIY project. I've made some for myself out of old T shirts. (these are my brother's actual faces, they're hideous I know)
