I'm thinking I would try the following things before giving up the bikes:
1) Distribute my bikes to people I know who do not have bikes. They will be the caretakers until normality is restored.
2) Take apart the bikes, so they are no longer bikes, but parts.
3) Bribe an official
4) Keep two out and hide the rest in the middle of nowhere.
If I cave, I'll keep my Raleigh Team Record, and LeMond Buenos Aires.
