Trainer hints

I refuse to let those pounds keep creeping up since Michigan's snow and ice keeps me indoors.

Invested in a Kurt Kinetic Road Master Fluid Trainer today and mounted the Trek Madone 5.5 on it in front of the TV.

The trainer comes with some spinning workouts that I’ll cycle through. I hear there are all sorts of training DVDs that simulate rides. I’ll have to look for them and, with my iPod and for two months or so till it’s okay to get outside, this will hopefully keep me riding.

Any hints? Suggestions?

Okay, I know the small gear they mention on the training DVD is in front. WHat's gear 15? The big one on the back? Stupid question, I know. Don't yell.

Have just test ridden it so far. Setup was easy. Tomorrow morning will be my first real workout in shoes and chamois shorts.

Ride on.

Here’s a pic of the setup.
