Well, I have decent gear for 95% of my body. I am still on a quest to find a good pair of shoe covers/booties that are water resistant. The one LBS that has some decent ones don't have my size. I don't know if I want to spend 40 bucks + shipping on some Pearl Izumi Amfibs. They sure do look sweet though.
If you guys know of any proven brands of anti-rain shoe covers, let me know.

Dwagenheim you do NOT want waterproof or even water resistant boots, booties, sneakers, fluffies or any other bizarre footwear. What ya want are a decent, fair priced pair of running style sneakers with as much nylon/type webbing on top as possible, and as little of the fabric/padding on top as possible. The former will dry quickly; the latter soak up rain, sweat and rot. I just finished the first part of my tour on the east coast (vermont) and ran into a lot of rainy/thunderstormy weather. My sneakers dried within minutes when the storms stopped and the fair skies came out. If you put your feet into the stuff you want you will end up with toefungus and athletes foot that will stink up the whole northern hemisphere!
My favorite cycling shoe was the old adidas XL-17. All nylon webbing in the upper, and a firm sole to pedal with. Damn!
