80s Peugeots have various bb threadings. French and Swiss are a pain (and potentially very expensive) if the cups are shot. But they did switch to British in the 80s. Regardless, really fantastic Peugeots (great frames and components) often go for low prices, so I don't think it's bad advice if you know the potential pitfalls.
