As far as my thoughts go, different bikes for differents needs. On not better or more than the other. Just saying roadies for speed, mtb's for dirt and hybrids for stuff/getting around/toruing(?). I would like a hybrid myself only cause the look cool like the FX line. But honestly, I'd try to go fast and keep up wtit roadies like I do on the mtb knobbies, but that's just me!
