For the shops that I go to and buy stuff from, I can't think of any that bothered me. This is Toronto, so with ~4mil people, there's a good selection of quality shops. The only real issue with shops around here is the bulk of them buy from the same group of distributors, so pricing and selection can be an issue. Most shops can't help that, and unfortunately, cycling seems to be an industry which is *very* controlled by its distributors, unlike electronics and computers, where distributors are a dime-a-dozen. There are shops with exceptions, making attempts to import exotic and different products, such as La Carrera; unfortunately, this importing can add a large premium.
