Oh I'd love to find out what that sucker weighs when you load the rack and bottle cages. Touring always seems harder when I realize how much you need to take with you.
65-70 lbs ... I've got my gear (panniers, handlebar bag, trunk bag, and all the stuff inside them (clothing, bedding, eating supplies, tools, etc.)) down to somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 lbs.
