I can't help you in that regard but I
can tell you that I have the MTE 2 mode and love it. Pairing it right now with a TrustFire TR-801 Cree Q5-WC 5-Mode 230 lumen on the helmet. I like it but my commute isn't that long so I don't need long run times.
