Well, drove in today, need to run some errands this afternoon, last night on the way home I hit a 9" spike in the road and it flipped up into the spokes of my rear wheel, took out three spokes and put a twist in the rim, the wheels are new and have 615 miles on them. I didn't bite the dust but it did wake me up. I pulled it into a true enough state to complete my ride home, but the rim is junk. I ordered a new one this morning. Well we now know the Mavic T-519 is not indestructable. We'll be on the back up bike for a while until I can build up a new wheel.
