Yeah there is a guy (Hammer with a capital H) in our group who last year rode for the first time in 55+ @Cat3 figuring he would be able to start winning. (the Hammer's racing knowledge and tactics are sound) Found out that it just draws more competitive physically gifted 55+ riders from a larger geographical area.

Personally I enjoy the group rides and look forward to our Tortoise and Hare rides come Spring.
BTW congratz on the sprint speeds.
