I considered an XT crankset. The only problems are cosmetic:
- XT is 4 arm, not 5 arm, and
- It's only available in anodized black.
I'm trying to make this look pretty, as well as functional, and I'm after a 5 arm crank with a polished alloy finish.
If the XT (or LX) crankset was the only available route I would do it, but if there are more aesthetically pleasing solutions that are just as functional I prefer to go that way.
