Balderdash. How do you have any knowledge or authority to make a blanket statement like this, about people who have never ridden with you? I have been riding in traffic for a number of years without coming close to being "knocked off the road." This might be luck--or it might be that I know what I'm doing.

More balderdash. A "feeling" of safety is little to go by. Some people don't feel safe stepping off the front porch. Make a
rational decision, based on your own skills and abilities, as well as the road and traffic conditions that you face that day.
