I am not familiar with Herb. I ride with BCI most weekends. I'll look around for him this weekend or next and guage demand for a BCI corral of sorts at the tour de ps.
We usually meet in front of the CPK (calif pizza kitchen) on Palm Cyn drive at 6:45 - sometimes we have a pretty good group...
Thats a couple of blocks N of the start..then we just roll into the start from there...
Be prepared for a mass start...if you have never done one, it can be a bit scary....lots of riders having trouble clipping in....etc...be very careful.....
Usually cool to start...but it always warms up....better to be a bit cold...I havent gone with anything heavier than a vest and arm warmers, and will try to not even wear that if possible....
