I was in the store recently and saw a *spectacular* frame going to a customer who was building it up as a SS/FG -- beautiful lugs, beautiful paint, horizontal dropouts. Almost too pretty to ride, but they ride great.
Bill Davidson has been building bikes for a long time so if you're interested in the frames you can watch eBay; they tend to bring $400 to $800, frame only, for older ones.
