With all the talk of online verses LBS shopping and such around here lately I thought I would share what I would call an online bargain.

I had been looking for some pro 3 race tires, and found that my LBS sells them for $60 a piece, and that PBK has them for $31... now I decided today to see what else was available on PBK and found that they have in stock Conti GP4000 with chilli (as I recall basically the same as the 4000s) cost $24...

So I ordered a pair, we will see how they are, I know a lot of people like them a lot, and are supposed to be longer lasting than the pro3's... not to mention that my LBS does not carry Conti rubber. I also picked up a couple pairs of rim tape for something like a buck... Needed some for my other wheelset.

Now I'm just waiting for them to get the chain I want in stock and I will pick up a couple, and hopefully I will find a good source for 9 speed cassettes, or better yet just a good source for 9/10 speed cogs and spacers so I can build up my own.

Anyone know where to get loose cogs for shimano?
