That thought has crossed my mind too. The spray gun that I have been looking at is an automotive trim gun. It has a gravity resevoir that will probably take more paint to wet the tank than what I'll use on a bike frame.

I'd be interested in knowing exactly what you have, where you bought it, and, whenever you get around to using it, how well you like it.
