If you are in this for the long run, learn to fix and install it yourself. You'll save the time it takes to bring it to the LBS and the money, unless your LBS is next door.

There's a LBS near me that's only open M-F 12:00PM-6:00PM, fixing it myself is less hassle.

Unless you are dealing with chasing/facing and complete wheel overhaul, majority of bicycle problems are very easy to fix.
