I have SRAM Red, SRAM Rival, Dura-Ace 7800, Ultegra XXXX, and 105.

You know what? They all work just fine. They're all smooth. And none of them have been prone to needing adjustments.

So...yeah...whatever. And I bet Campy is equally adequate. I will say this about SRAM and Campy (which I used while riding someone elses bike briefly)...SRAM and Campy brifters are MUCH more comfortable for my hands.
