SRAM only lets you downshift one gear at a time, correct? Shimano lets you go down three gears with one throw of the lever, something I use all the time, especially when climbing and I'm alternating between sitting and out of the saddle, and would not want to give up.

SRAM lets you pull the shift lever back towards the bar so that you can shift while out of the saddle on the drops, which almost convinced me to buy them, but my 105 is loose enough that I can get a finger in between the upshift lever and the brake lever so that I can shift on the drops while out of the saddle.

I'll stick with shimano.

Wrong. you can downshift 1, 2, or 3 gears at a time with sram.
