Well... track-bike geometry only gives you 2-5 degrees more lean-ability before striking the pedal. Learning to keep the bike upright in corners and leaning your body while pedaling like mad through the corners will let you get 10 degrees more lean AND a whole lot more speed than the suckers behind you. Ever since the 600 Ultegra platform pedals came out, pedal-strikes have been insignificant as you'll scrape the shoe before the pedal.
