I think I disagree with most of this paragraph. I find that they are no less convenient in urban traffic than any other kind of pedal. Actually, I find them more convenient because I can keep one foot clipped in at all times, and I can get going from a stop a little quicker than if I had to reposition the pedals without foot retention to get going again.
