I have a CrossCheck and love it. The Bianchi was not in consideration when I bought it but the Soma Casserole was. I got the CrossCeck because for me, the bike felt stable and solid. I did upgrade the wheels before I got it mainly due to my weight (250lbs) and haven't had a moments trouble with it. I am going to use it for touring and have it set up with rear rack, Ortlieb Bike Packer Plus panniers, Ortlieb Large H-bar bag and have put Schwalbe Marathons on it. I took the bike out fully loaded yesterday for a 25 mile ride and it did wonderfully (much better than I did) No squirrelyness in the handling and other than me not being in as good condition as I would like, it was a fun ride
