there have been two other threads on this recently (just so you know - i'm not trying to be a jerk here - there's just a lot of opinions and info you could read on the other threads) - search for them and read all about people's opinions on republic.

personally, i would rather spend a little time looking around and find the parts to make a nicer bike then buying something that generic and low end.
