Does the bottom bracket have an adjustable offset? Mine looks like the third chain ring would rub the frame. I'm thinking of putting on a triple, saving on a new bottom bracket would be nice.
I have asked this question on different forums, always getting different answers. I have been told that a 26t ring would work with nothing other than adjusting the stock FD. I have also been told that it would take an mtb front crank, rings, and BB with a new FD and a new RD. Has anyone just put on an inner 26t and adjusted the FD to make it work with no problems?
