Ok.. thanks for the info everyone. I don't think my problem is as quite as bad as I originally thought. Having the tire on the rim makes it seem worse than it really is. I think I need to figure out a way to make a trueing stand to do this right. (Now, I have the bike hanging from the rafters in my basement and using the fork to hold the rim.) I'll have to see what I can come up with.
