Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid growing up. My mother would give my sister and me one candy bar to share. She'd tell one of us to cut it in half and the other got first pick. I remember agonizing over which of the two pieces I should pick. The bottom line is that if you can't tell the difference, it doesn't matter.
