You are right, most people in cars are ignorant of laws concerning bicycles. Hell, a lot of cops are also. That doesn't justify acting like an ass.
Like I said earlier, I put more miles on my bike than my car last year. That included comuting to work by bike. My car was parked most of the summer. So you can tone down your hoier than thou attitude.
If I am unpleasent because I think we should share the road instead of taking it over then I guess you are right, I am. Why don't you just go back to planning your next critical mass event.
