In the abstract, sure -- but don't lose sight of why people use this product. People don't wear bike helmets to make a fashion statement or to stay warm or because it's the only way to listen to music when they ride. They wear them for one reason only, and that is safety. Every non-safety related item on your list can be addressed better by a different type of product -- so if you compromise the helmet's safety, then there's no reason why someone would buy your helmet.
