Funny, the first "real" bike I ever owned was a Windsor that I bought with lawn-mowing money in about 1980. Back then, anyway, they were kind of a me-too cro-mo bike, in the mix with bikes like Miyata, Univega, etc. Mine was made in Mexico, which was interesting to some.
