Well, the bars and stem are off my (very) old race bike that I parted out a year ago. The white paint on the stem logo was flecking of, so I scraped the rest of it off, then I just used yellow paint w/a small brush, cleaned it up w/mineral spirits.

I did deannodize the stem and the bars, using Easy Off oven cleaner. I've used this stuff on other parts and usually it is a 3-5 minute wait, but the Cinelli parts took multiple application of fairly long soaks (1--15 minutes). I polished them up, actually they really gleam, but that isn't evident in the pictures.
