I am still breaking it in but so far so good. I've had to tweak the angle a few times but its getting there.
I had an Alias that I absolutely love but I am trying to get rid of some of the Specialized crap on my bike. I tried an Arione but got rid of it after about 150miles because it was not flat enough in the back to support my wideness.
The Antares is relatively flat front to back and almost completely flat side to side. Although it looks really thin its got a ton of padding. It looks like Fizik pulled this off by keeing the plastic shell on the bottom flat instead of curving with the shape of the saddle. As they say, it is a fit between the Arione and Aliante but much more toward a Arione. It only has a small rise in the back to push against but I was hoping it would be a bit more.
I think of it as an Arione with a big flat rear end.
