I can't help but weigh in. I have 3 Axiom (Journey / Journey Disc) racks. They're cheap and ok for commuting but not strong for touring.

I also have an IRD Himalaya on my Marinoni. Shiny indeed but not that stiff for the weight.

Got a Tubus Locc for my Surly LHT last year and there is no going back. It it much stronger and more rigid than my other racks. Easier to fit. Fittings for ABUS locks and taillights. Not too heavy either. For a rear rack with a heavy load -- Tubus all the way.
