All the way to work (~11mi) one time. I put on my skullcap and glasses but no helmet. Where I work (Tysons Corner VA) is not all that bike-friendly so I actually stopped at LL Bean on the way home and bought a new helmet. My other one was about 8 years old at the time, so I figured it wouldn't be bad to get a new one and keep the old one as a backup.
