If you read the OP, I clearly say the rules are actually suggestions. A suggestion is not "telling people" anything, it is merely a suggestion.
I don't think people get "pissed off" when they see things ground off high end vintage frames. I think they get disappointed and confused.
Pictures are fine. they will make the thread more enjoyable.
The whole point of a forum is discussion. I'm glad your discussing.
