I checked out the 23" frame bike today and I felt the reach was too short, leaving me feeling bunched up in the torso. So it looks like I will need something along the lines of what folks have suggested here - 25"+ in the English sizing.

Perhaps I feel my current 63cm frame is too large because of the funky Lemond geometry.

Finding a good condition used bike just got a whole lot harder, now that I know I need such an unusual size.
