You could be ok, both you and EvilV. I think I remember when installing my antivirus in August that I decided I wanted to know if my antivirus found anything when asked during the install. I am curious you see

I guess it is quite common that the antivirus takes care of problems without you knowing, but of course a scanning is always smart. I use more than one program to be on the safe side.
