I have four bikes currently, each with a different personality and cost. There's a junker homebuilt, a nice club rider, and a fast racing bike. Then, as a counterpoint, I also have an upright Trek for when I don't want to get salt on the junker, either. OK, seriously, the Trek has knobbies, and fenders so *I* don't get salt all over me; but it's still a winter-only bike.
