Well, if I recall correctly he started at $375 and I offered $300. The bike also had matching cyclone derailleurs, and I got a nice set of Campagnolo C Record hubs with the bike. I assumed the value in it was for its rarity and the all aluminum construction. I've scoured articles on aluminum Daccordi bikes but haven't found any that look like this one.

Where I live, I have been able to take advantage of the "hipster tax" on bike frames before because there are a lot of satellite towns where old steel bikes are worthless to the locals. I'm afraid I might have gotten railed by the so called hipster tax on this bike.
