I am mainly curious about pants, What kind do you have and how bad do you sweat in them.

I have some Nike pants (although not Gore nor eVent, they claim to be breathable) and they get clamy real quick.

When it's warm, it's not really a problem (I just wear quick drying shorts and a vented jacket), but I am worried about what to do when it is too cold for shorts.

I am kind of hesitant about droping $150 on eVent pants only to have them tear while walking through the woods.

What do you guys wear?
